Baddeley Brothers engraved plates featured in TV documentary.

Two authentic copper plates engraved by Baddeley Brothers are to feature in the opening sequence of BBC Two’s celebration of the 200th anniversary of one of the world’s most enduring love stories, ‘Pride And Prejudice: Having a Ball’ on 10 May 2013.

The programme recreates the opulent Regency ball inspired by the Netherfield Ball featured in the Jane Austen novel. Our 19th century engraving techniques characterises the formality and charm typical of these social occasions.
